My eldest daughter is going to pre-school and we’re all excited! After informally homeschooling her the past years, and going to Gymboree‘s Learning Lab classes on weekends, we decided that she is ready to go to a regular school. Mia will attend Parkwood Playschool (after researching and scouting for schools around our area) this coming June and we are eagerly preparing for it. When we enrolled a few months ago, the school’s admin person gave us a list of materials that we need to submit before school starts. Here what’s the list looked like:
So after our quick weekend trip to Liliw, we headed to our favorite mall, Power Plant in Rockwell and shopped for Mia’s school supplies. I got giddy upon entering National Bookstore, I can stay there for hours! There were a lot of variants and brands to choose from, and choosing even just a pencil sharpener took me a while. We ended up with 4 bags full of supplies and Michael had to literally drag me to the cashier to stop my shopping frenzy.

Mia’s loot! Happy with her new Sleeping Beauty board book
Last Monday, I labeled, unwrapped, wrapped with plastic laminate those that I can, and packed Mia’s things so we can bring it to school on our first-ever PTA.

Here are some of my favorite buys and those that I found very useful. Please excuse my ignorance and excitement on these little items – it’s been a while since I got to buy school items :)…
