Because I was a first-time mom when I had Mia, breastfeeding in public somehow made me feel uncomfortable (but I later realized I shouldn’t – BREASTFEEDING is NORMAL!). The thought of having parts of me exposed made me a bit queasy. So I shopped for nursing covers, ponchos, and other cover-ups but my precious Mia feels so uncomfortable feeding under ANY type of cover. She cries and sweats a lot if I attempt to feed her under a nursing cover – no matter how flimsy or breathable the fabric is. I could not blame her – I mean can you try putting a blanket over you while you eat your dinner? 🙂 I tried looking for alternatives and found out shops that offers nursing wear – Genius! Although the clothes are not really as cheap as we would hope it would be, their prices are not too steep either. Here are the shops where I get my nursing wear from:
